Abstract

A method for producing copper vitriol from the used copper and ammonium etchants in the production of printed-circuit boards by acidulation thereof while mixing with the acid to рН 6...7, isolation of the residue of basic copper compounds from ammonium chloride solution, washing by water with subsequent drying. The residue of basic copper compounds is mixed with sulphuric acid and water on the basis of stoichiometry of forming copper vitriol solution, isolated from the residue by admixtures with subsequent cooling the solution.
