Abstract

The proposed digital measuring transducer for measuring the parameters of rotary movement of a shaft contains a light flux modulator, a light flux source, a slit diaphragm, and a single-row array of photodetectors, which is arranged in parallel to the rotation axis of the shaft. The light flux modulator is designed as light-reflecting coating, the development of which is shaped as a triangle that is applied to the surface of the shaft and limited by a strip of light-absorbing material. The slit diaphragm is arranged between the light source and the modulator. The slit of the diaphragm is parallel to the shaft axis. The outputs of the photodetector array are used as the outputs of the proposed transducer.
