Abstract

In this master's qualification work the method of protection against shoulder surfing attack is considered and improved, namely, the method of authentication based on a graphic password. An analysis of existing authentication methods based on graphical passwords was performed and a number of characteristic features and shortcomings of existing methods were identified. Possible improvements in the method of protection against shoulder surfing were also analyzed. The stability of the improved protection method was assessed. Based on the results of the analysis, the development of a software product was designed and implemented, for the implementation of which the C # programming language, Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 development environment and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 2019 were chosen. Testing of the software application confirmed its correctness and efficiency. An assessment of the commercial potential of the developed product and economic calculations of costs and revenues from the implementation of development and payback period were conducted.
