Abstract

As a result of intensive pollution of the atmosphere by emissions of industrial enterprises and vehicles with heavy metals, man-made geochemical fields are formed that negatively affect soils and biota of urban ecosystems. The main component of the biota is the vegetation, as an indicator of the state of the environment. The benefits of plant bioindicators, as instruments for monitoring environmental pollution, are the continuity of perception of external influences, reproducibility of the results and the possibility of sampling in any period of the year.
