Toponyms and adjectives derived from toponyms as part of phraseological units of biblical origin in the Ukrainian language are considered in theses. Attention is focused on examples of biblical toponyms, their dictionary interpretations, and on the biblical plot that caused the emergence of biblical phraseological units (BFO).
