Abstract

Road Transport of Ukraine is in critical condition. This situation is primarily due to the physical and moral depreciation of rolling stock. Therefore, we can assert that the technical development of production is one of the most appropriate ways of increasing the effectiveness of road transport enterprises. Given the specifics of technical development, its implementation in road transport enterprises requires the use of strategic management. The paper considers the fundamental model of technical development strategy, which consists of pre-investment, investment and operational phases. Development and selection of technical development strategy performed on pre-investment phase. Technical development strategies usually involve a system update of road transport enterprises, i.e. rolling stock and production-technological base in the complex. Implementation of strategies is doing through developed complexes organizational and technical measures – technical development variants. Based on the activities rolling stock renewal and development of production-technological base author suggested basic variants of technical development. Author developed a method detection control for technical development strategies, which, for a particular road transport enterprises, solves the problem of determining further ways of development and to identify effective strategies for the renewal of rolling stock, in accordance with the market situation and ensure its maintenance in operational condition. Based on the research analyzed the features and feasibility of different types of strategies.
