Abstract

The proposed multiplier is distinctive by its speed of response when multiplying decimal numbers, as the number of clock periods required for generating the base numbers that are multiple of the multiplicand is 4 instead of 10. The missed multiple numbers can be generated, if necessary, within a clock period by an additional adder accumulator, using the generated multiple numbers.
