Методичні аспекти навчання дискретної математики майбутніх фахівців з інформаційних технлогій

Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual issues of teaching discrete mathematics in the institutions of higher technical education (IHTE). The methodological features of teaching the main sections of discrete mathematics are considered: set theory, Boolean algebra, combinatorics, graph theory for students of IT specialties. Discrete mathematics is important for the formation of complementary types of thinking among students: system-combinatorial and logical-algorithmic. The article deals with specific problems that are directed towards the formation of the system-combinatorial type of thinking. By forming this kind of thinking students can be taught to find solutions in new, unfamiliar circumstances. The article studies that the logical-algorithmic type of thinking is directly related to the algorithmic component of learning. The development of this type of thinking gives students the opportunity for the quick ion a previously familiar set of conditions, and consequently – finding an optimal solution in specific circumstances. The article may be useful for the teachers who work with future IT specialists.
