Педагогічна майстерність майбутніх учителів фізичної культури як предмет наукових досліджень

Abstract

Pedagogical activities of physical education teachers are now being prioritized as a result of fundamental changes in a modern society. A new social, economic and especially information environment puts new demands on the personality of the teacher, who can no longer be a mere transmitter of knowledge and ecomes an active and creative mediator between the learner and his/her capabilities, between the individual and the prospect of his/her self-realization in a multi-dimensional world. Any pedagogical education implies acquiring professional competencies, which together form pedagogical skills. Indeed, pedagogical skills are the core of the teacher`s professional activities, directed precisely at the comprehensive development of the personality, mediated by the teacher`s example and efforts, which reveals the subject-subject interaction during the educational process. The specificity of professional training for future physical education teachers dwells on humanistic philosophy and a hierarchy of values, based on the comprehensive development of the personality. Such specificity lies in the awareness of goals and educational prospects of the teacher`s personality and his/her future pupils, namely acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities for physical and intellectual self-improvement, cultural dialogue and integration into a multi-vector information environment. It must be noted that educational and professional activities in the field of physical education contain some adverse factors for the participants in such activities and are associated with high levels of mental tension, stress, responsibility and other factors that put particular demands on physical education teachers. However, society needs a creative and competent educator able to realize his/her potential in the modern system of education. The art of being a physical education teacher is very complex and multi-faceted. It is important to be ready to olve complex pedagogical tasks, solve any situations and have professional competency and pedagogical skills.
