Використання інновацій та сучасних технологій у формуванні інтелектуального капіталу

Abstract

The article explores the use of innovations and modern technologies as crucial drivers in the formation and sustainable development of intellectual capital within the knowledge economy. It emphasizes that intellectual capital is not limited to human competencies, but also includes structural and relational dimensions, which jointly determine long-term competitiveness and economic resilience. The study highlights how contemporary technological trends such as digitalization, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, blockchain solutions, cloud services, automation, and robotics are transforming the processes of knowledge creation, accumulation, and commercialization. Particular attention is paid to the mechanisms by which innovations strengthen human capital through continuous learning, professional growth, and creativity; enhance structural capital via organizational flexibility, digital infrastructures, and efficient knowledge management systems; and reinforce relational capital through new forms of collaboration, reputation building, and global networking opportunities. The research also analyzes global and national trends, noting that countries and companies investing in technology-driven strategies demonstrate greater adaptability to market fluctuations and achieve superior performance. At the same time, barriers such as insufficient financing, low commercialization of scientific results, and weak business–science cooperation are identified as critical challenges in Ukraine. The paper underlines the necessity of strategic planning, long-term investment policies, and effective partnerships among business, government, and academia to foster innovation ecosystems. By offering a classification of strategies for innovation use and evaluating their respective advantages and disadvantages, the study proposes practical recommendations for organizations aiming to systematically build intellectual capital. The findings demonstrate that the integration of advanced technologies into business processes not only enhances competitiveness, but also ensures sustainable growth, reinforcing the role of intellectual capital as a strategic resource in the global knowledge economy.У статті розглянуто використання інновацій та сучасних технологій як ключового чинника формування інтелектуального капіталу в умовах економіки знань. Визначено сутність інтелектуального капіталу, його складові та роль у забезпеченні довгострокової конкурентоспроможності. Проаналізовано сучасні інноваційні тенденції та технології, зокрема цифровізацію, штучний інтелект, аналітику великих даних, блокчейн, хмарні сервіси, автоматизацію та роботизацію. Окреслено механізми впливу інновацій на зростання людського, структурного й реляційного капіталу, а також тенденції світового та національного ринку у цій сфері. Запропоновано класифікацію типів стратегій використання інновацій з порівняльною характеристикою їх переваг і недоліків. Визначено детермінанти ефективної стратегії та об- ґрунтовано необхідність стратегічного планування, довгострокових інвестицій і поєднання зусиль бізнесу, держави та науки для розвитку інтелектуального капіталу.
