The Role Of Environmental Education In Fostering Students` Competence and Involvement

Abstract

The article deals with the main directions of ecological education in higher educational establishments, public and student youth organizations. The results of the sociological research conducted among the students of VNTU are presented, and practical recommendations for raising the environmental responsibility of students are developed. the experience of the student organization ENACTUS, it was concluded that the effective environmental education of citizens on the implementation and use of energy saving technologies is feasible.
