Abstract

Principles of forming the mathematical competence of future engineer, that is related to swift development of information technologies, software, with the advent of new industries of professional activity and insufficiently effective system of professional training the specialists are considered in the article. The complex of principles that underlie the investigated process of forming the mathematical competence of future engineer in higher technical educational establishment is determined and their realization on the example of higher mathematics course is offered. Among key principles it is distinguished: integrative principle, principle of professional mobility, motivation principle, principle of self-organization, principle of rational combination of collective and individual forms and methods of training, principle of practical and applied orientation of training, systematic and training sequence principle.
