Study of legislative acts of Ukraine on energy-saving housing made of a comprehensiveassessment. We give the problematic issues related to increasing energy efficiency in the reconstructionof housing. Methods for reducing energy consumption during the reconstruction of housing stock fromnatural renewable sources of energy. The different methods of thermal protection of buildings, dependingon the technical and economic indicators of housing. The ways of solving the problem of energy efficiencyand energy use in the residential sector mass five-story building.
