Abstract

The device for trials of the thighbone prosthesis for the operational strength contains the support platform where the prosthesis being tried is mounted. The platform may be rotated about the vertical and horizontal axes. The device also comprises the turning mechanism, the mechanism of the axial and rotational loading with the special head designed for attaching the prosthesis, and the hydroelectric drive. The latter consists of the pumping unit with the drive hydraulic pumps connected through the hydroelectric amplifiers with the hydraulic cylinders of the turning mechanism for the support platform, the axial and rotational loading, connected with the piston and rod cavities of the executive hydraulic cylinders, which are in turn connected with the support platform and the inner and outer heads designed for attaching the prosthesis, and the system of the remote automatic control. The set-point device specifying the shape, the amplitude and the rate of the repeat operating cycles of the dynamic loading connected with the hydroelectric amplifiers also represents one of the units comprising the system described.
