Abstract

The ability of heavy metals to penetrate various biochemical cycles and accumulate in living organisms, makes it possible to classify them as one of the most dangerous pollutants in the environment. In natural reservoirs heavy metals cause damage to organisms of hydrobionts, breaking homeostasis at all levels from the molecular to the organism. The nature of the influence of heavy metals and their compounds on living organisms is uniquely determined as negative.
