Abstract

This report examines the role of automation and artificial intelligence (AI) in the fourth industrial revolution, known as Industry 4.0. It focuses on the integration of cyber-physical systems (CPS), the Internet of Things (IoT), and cloud computing into manufacturing processes. The benefits of automation and AI are discussed, including increased productivity, reduced costs, improved product quality, and predictive maintenance. The challenges related to cybersecurity and the need for skilled personnel, as well as the prospects for further development of these technologies in industry, are also considered.
