Анотація
The article analyzes global experience in household waste recycling based on examples from Germany, Japan,
South Korea, Sweden, and the USA. It examines modern automated sorting technologies, including computer vision, nearinfrared spectroscopy (NIR), and artificial intelligence (AI), which improve recycling efficiency and reduce costs. The
study explores technical system characteristics, economic performance indicators, and industry development prospects.
Key challenges in implementing new technologies are identified, and potential solutions are outlined to enhance
environmental sustainability and resource efficiency.
