Abstract

The article substantiates the sociocultural paradigm of modern technical translation, shifting the focus text as a static object to a dynamic tool for professional interaction. The authors analyze the necessity of adapting technical documentation at linguocultural, pragmatic, and axiological levels to ensure functional adequacy and safety in global communication. Special attention is paid to the role of the translator as a \"cultural mediator\" in the era of artificial intelligence and digital transformation. The study emphasizes that successful knowledge transfer in the modern engineering field requires deep reflection on the sociocultural context, mental models of the audience, and ethical standards of inclusivity.
