Abstract

In the master's qualification work the design and features of operation of powerful engines of own needs of power plants are investigated, the basic reasons of damages of engines and methods and means of their diagnostics are analyzed. The third section develops mathematical and computer models for determining the coefficient of residual life of an electric motor, which can be used during the current determination of the time of decommissioning of the motor for repair or disposal. In the economic part of the master's qualification work, the payback period of the introduction of the system of automated functional diagnostics of engines is calculated.
