Анотація
There has been given analyses and generalized the main tendencies of the
development of the folk-instrumental art in Ukraine in the following article. It was
noted that the folk-instrumental genre today is characterized by carrying out the
preparation of performers on the folk instruments at all musical educational
levels; using the improved folk musical instruments; genre and style diversity of
the repertoire; combining the folk melody with the musical and style peculiarities
of professional music; creation of considerable methodological scientific and
theoretical base; active popularization of folk-instrumental music
