Abstract

The article examines modern approaches to improving the technical and tactical training of students engaged in basketball in higher education institutions. The relevance of the study is обусловлена the need to enhance the effectiveness of the educational and training process under conditions of limited instructional time, different levels of students preparedness, and increasing requirements for the quality of sports training. The features of the development of technical and tactical skills in student basketball players are analyzed, and the feasibility of an integrated training approach that combines technical and tactical preparation is substantiated. The possibilities of using game-based and competitive methods, situational learning, as well as innovative pedagogical and information and communication technologies are highlighted. The main directions for optimizing technical and tactical training are identified, taking into account the psychophysiological and motivational characteristics of students. At the same time, the analysis of literary sources indicates that most scientific studies are focused on the training of highly qualified athletes and elite teams. Issues related to improving the technical and tactical training of student basketball players within the system of physical education in higher education institutions remain insufficiently covered and require further scientific substantiation. Thus, the generalization of the results of the analysis of scientific sources confirms the relevance of studying modern approaches to improving the technical and tactical training of students engaged in basketball in higher education institutions, taking into account the specific features of student sports and the possibilities of implementing innovative teaching methods.
