Abstract

The proposed microelectronic magnetic flux density meter with a frequency output signal contains a direct voltage source and an oscillator. The oscillator contains a Hall transducer and an oscillating circuit. The oscillating circuit contains a capacitance element, which is formed by three bipolar transistors, and an inductive element based on a bipolar transistor, which are connected in parallel, and a resistor and a capacitor, which are connected in series. Change of magnetic flux density induces the change of the inductance of the oscillating circuit of the oscillator resulting in the change of the oscillator frequency and, accordingly, the frequency of the output signal of the meter. The conversion of magnetic flux density into frequency allows the accuracy and sensitivity of the meter to be increased.
