Abstract

The article explores the transformation of the teacher`s role amid the intensive integration of digital technologies (EdTech), particularly in the context of working with gifted students. It substantiates that the traditional teaching role, focused on knowledge transmission, is insufficient for the effective identification and support of giftedness. Key components of the teacher`s digital competence necessary for utilizing AI-powered analytical tools and adaptive platforms to create individual development trajectories for gifted students are identified. A transformation model for the teaching role a \"transmitter\" to a \"digital facilitator\" and \"designer of personalized learning experience\" is proposed. Scientific findings include outlining the functionality of AI tools for early potential detection and dynamic monitoring of gifted students` progress.
