Abstract

In the textbook the programming of Visual Basic language based on Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008 is studied. Basic attention is spared to design of visual interface for the programs of Windows Forms. Also the book in detail describes the programming concepts such as vector and raster graphics based on GDI+ classes, as the files and streams, the databases in ADO.NET and parallel threads. The textbook is intended for the students of bachelor direction “Computer engineering” for the study of the disciplines of "Visual programming" and "Parallel programming".
