Architectural ensemble of the Pototskyi in Tulchyn, as the standard of classicism in Eastern Podillia

Abstract

A historic and cultural as well as urban panning architectural analysis of the main periods of the prosperity, decline and renovation of the Pototskyi palace in Tulchyn on Vinnitsia area at the end of 18th century have been reviewed in the article. The stylistic features of the palace`s architecture have been determined. The influence of early classicism on the formation of the principal aspects of the palace ensemble architecture surrounding has been analyzed. The main artistic and decorative methods as well as the regularities, compositional and spatial solutions to the architecture of palace complex have been revealed.

У статті проведено історико-культурний та архітектурно-містобудівний аналіз основних періодів розквіту, занепаду та відновлення палацу Потоцьких у Тульчині на Вінниччині кінця 18-го століття. Визначено стилістичні характеристики в архітектурі палацу. Проаналізовано вплив періоду раннього класицизму на формування головних аспектів архітектурного середовища палацового ансамблю. Виявлено основні художньо-декоративні прийоми, закономірності та композиційно-просторові вирішення у формуванні архітектури палацового комплексу.
