Abstract

The work examines the phenomenon of freedom of thought under conditions of intensive informational influenceasakey aspect of modern psychological, social, and philosophical reality. The crucial role of critical thinking and reflectionincountering manipulative mechanisms formed in the digital environment is highlighted. The research allowsforunderstanding how to preserve cognitive autonomy under conditions of algorithmic attention management, social pressure,and information overload. Typical mechanisms of thought restriction, as well as practical strategies for developingfreedom of thought at individual and societal levels, are analyzed in detail.
