Abstract

The article examines the impact of globalization on the transformation of the national skills market of Ukraine and identifies key threats to the preservation of human capital in the context of international integration. Systemic imbalances in the domestic labor market are analyzed, in particular, the high level of informal employment, innovation backwardness, and the destructive consequences of military aggression. Based on statistical data, the need to transition from passive overcoming of unemployment to strategic stimulation of productive employment and development of high-tech industries is substantiated. Special attention is paid to mechanisms for protecting intellectual potential through increased investment in science, modernization of workplaces, and ensuring decent working conditions. Conclusions are formulated regarding the priority of forming a knowledge economy as a basis for increasing the competitiveness of the state and its successful postwar recovery.
