Анотація
This thesis examines the philosophical concepts of power in the novels of Tolkien and the contemporary writer Branwen Llirsky. It is shown that these concepts exist within a tradition in which power is understood as a force of death completely opposed to human nature. It is also shown that there are elements of anarchist utopia in this tradition
