The unique properties of microbial surfactants (surfactants) predetermine their use in various industries (including environmental technologies) instead of chemically synthesized analogues. But the rational use of surfactant microbial origin depends primarily on the economic efficiency of their production. One of the ways to reduce the cost of microbial surfactants is to use cheap growth substrates, for example, waste from other industries.
