Abstract

In this diploma work the problem of gender recognition on human face image is investigated using convolutional neural networks. During the execution of the diploma the theoretical foundations of convolutional neural networks are considered. The research of network functioning quality depending on its different parameters are conducted. The convolutional neural network results were compared to the multi-layer perceptron neural network results in the task of sex determination on the basis of human facial image. The intelligent system was developed in Visual Studio environment (which gave by Computer Science Deartment in Dream Spark Program framework) using the programming language C ++.
