Abstract

This device relates to lightguide equipment. A multichannel dismountable lightguide connector consists of two matrix blocks, a set of equal strips with cylindrical channels, docking devices, the first matrix box with cylindrical channels the number of which is identical to the number of cylindrical channels in the strip, whereas the number of cylindrical channels in the band is identical to the number of strips in the set, at that light guides with tail-pieces are secured in the strip cylindrical channels. End surfaces of the light guides are placed coplanar to the end surface of the first matrix block. The second matrix box appears to be a monolithic termination unit which surface contains light guides end surfaces, and their quantity and arrangement order corresponds to the first matrix block. Moreover, the following items are added: a connecting strip for docking the end surfaces of light guides and light guides with tail-pieces, a base for the attachment of the strip, the connecting strip and the fiber-optic tail, at that docking device are made to allow a pairwise junction of fiber-optic tails.
