Abstract

The object of research is the technology of building coherent fiber-optic transmission systems of special purpose. The purpose of this master's qualification work is to study the noise immunity of the fiber-optic transmission system of the center of biomedical research, which is characterized by increased efficiency of the use of telecommunication equipment on the basis of coherent technology. In this work the basic theories of optical waveguides, the theory of digital communication, the theory of noise immunity of systems of transmission of discrete communications, digital signal processing were used. When performing part of computer simulation methods of mathematical and simulation modeling were used. On the basis of the results of the performed researches a generalized structure of FOTS and a generalized topology of the main section of FOLP have been developed. Developed during the implementation of the FOTS, due to the introduction and application of the latest methods for building high-speed linear paths based on Ethernet technology and modern fiber-optic network elements, will allow the creation of high-quality multiservice access of a large number of users to telecommunication services
