Abstract

Thus, the main task of the study is to find ways to achieve a satisfactory ecological status of surface waters of the Pivdennyi Bug River basin within the Vinnytsia region, in line with the EU WFD. To solve the problem, an analysis was made and problems with the adaptation of the European method of analysis of the ecological status of surface water to the national realities were identified. In particular, on the example of the Pivdennyi Buh basin according to the data of the state monitoring system of the surface water of the State Agency of Water and Waste determined that only 3 of the 33 main priority substances are available in the monitoring program, namely: cadmium, nickel and phosphates.
