Abstract

Water supply to the country is almost 80% due to surface water. The quality of water in surface water bodies is a decisive factor in the sanitary and epidemic well-being of the population. The National Program "Drinking Water of Ukraine" for 2006-2020 (hereinafter - the Program), approved by the Law of Ukraine of 03.03.2005, No. 2455-IV, is aimed at implementation of the state policy on providing the population with quality drinking water in accordance with the Law of Ukraine " On Drinking Water and Drinking Water Supply ".
