Abstract

The function of the facades of civil buildings is considered in the work. The main aggressive factors affecting the exterior decoration of the facades of residential and public buildings have been identified. An explanation of the most common defects and deficiencies in the decoration of facades and their causes is given. Corresponding conclusions and recommendations have been made regarding the prevention of violations of the monolithicity of the plastering of building facades. The main directions of solving the problem of quality and durability of plaster coatings are formulated.
