Abstract

This paper analyzes the significance of greening pedestrian streets in an urban environment in conditions of urbanization. The functional features of green spaces, and their aesthetic, climatic, ecological and recreational functions are considered. In particular, attention is focused on the selection of plants taking into account urban conditions. The use of decorative materials to improve the appearance and functionality of streets is described. The advantages and disadvantages of mobile greening as an effective means of temporary and adaptive greening of city streets are analyzed.
