Abstract

An optical smoke detector comprises a measuring chamber having a cover, a bottom with opening for smoke penetration and closed lateral barrier. Inside the measuring chamber in holders mounted are an optical radiation source and photo receiver arranged at angle to each other in such a manner that optical axis of the radiation source is out of photo receiver sight. The measuring chamber comprises peripheral elements reflecting optical radiation, mounted at the section located between the radiation source holders and photo receiver. The photo receiver comprises a photoresistor, bipolar transistor, field transistor, first and second capacitors, inductance and two voltage sources.
