Abstract

Features of the implementation of energy saving policy in the energy-intensive enterprises are analyzed in the article; production analysis for the efficient use of energy resources is conducted. The activity of industrial enterprises in implementing energy efficiency projects is investigated; the basic causes of insufficient active policy in this area are established. The effects of the lack of commercial attractiveness of investments in energy efficiency are revealed and impossibility to improve the energy efficiency industry without government intervention is proved, the cost-effectiveness indicators of the project, such as net present value, payback lines, discount cash flows are calculated in the paper.
