Abstract

An analysis of known approaches to diagnosing the technical condition of hydro generators has been carried out. Emphasis is placed on the use of thermal imaging diagnostic methods, in particular for determining the technical condition of the rotating rotor. A tool for determining the thermal profile of the hydrogenerator rotor is presented. A number of additional functions are considered, which, when implemented, can contribute to increasing the level of diagnostics of the hydrogenerator rotor
