Abstract

The proposed device for checking the service life of a high-voltage air switch contains current transducers, switching detectors, service-time meters inserted in the corresponding phase circuits of the switching units, a linearization unit, an analog-to-digital converter for the current transducers, and a unit for correcting the service life with consideration for irregular operation of the switching unit. The proposed unit provides storing of the current passing though the contacts of the switch and the pressure in the actuator of the switch.
