Features of mass music as cultural and social and phenomenon In the article on the basis of analysis of processes that take place the features of this phenomenon are certain in mass music. To them belong: orientation and accordance to tastes of mass society; a high degree of distribution of mass music is in society; reflection of the most widespread moods and feelings; availability of maintenance of works of mass music; mixing of different musical styles and directions; the difficult co-operating is with the spheres of academic and folk music.
