Abstract

In master's qualification thesis the electric part of hydroelectric power plant (HPP) with a power of 3 MW is designed. The feasibility study for the design of the hydroelectric power station has been completed. The calculation of electric load schedules was made, power and auxiliary equipment were selected, made a choice block diagram of the station scheme open distribution device (ODD) 10 kV circuits and their needs; switchgear, stub, instrument transformers, surge limitation means, battery, and has been calculated and lightning grounding device ODD 10 kV. The influence of the projected hydroelectric power station on the operating modes of the electric network is investigated. The analysis of the working conditions of the service personnel of the HPP was carried out, the earthing device of the 10 kV switchgear was selected, and the main measures of fire protection of hydroelectric power stations were described.
