Abstract

The proposed device for testing the service life of a high-voltage air switch contains three current transducers, comparators, switching elements, pulse counters, an OR logic element, a reset circuit, a pulse former, a commutation detector, two EXCLUSIVE OR logic elements, and two scaling amplifiers. The outputs of the current transducers are accordingly connected to the inputs of the first, second, and third comparators and the inputs of the first, second, and third switching elements. The outputs of the said switching elements are connected to each other. The inputs of the fourth and the fifth comparators are connected to each other. The second input of the first pulse counter is connected to the output of the OR logic element. The first input of the OR logic element is connected to the output of the reset circuit, and the second input is connected to the output of the pulse former. The output of the 10th comparator is connected to the control input of the sixth switching element. The output of the first switching element is connected to the inputs of the 8th, 9th, 10th comparators, inputs of the first and the second scaling amplifiers, and the input of the fourth switching element. The outputs of the scaling amplifiers are accordingly connected to the inputs of the fifth and sixth switching elements. The outputs of the 9th and 10th comparators are accordingly connected to the second inputs of the EXCLUSIVE OR logic elements. The first inputs of the EXCLUSIVE OR logic elements are accordingly connected to the outputs of the 8th and 9th comparators, and the outputs are connected with the control inputs of the fourth and fifth switching elements. The outputs of the fourth, fifth, and sixth switching elements are connected to the input of the fourth comparator.
