Abstract

Psycholinguistic course of connotation study is analysed in the article. Psycholinguistic principles of connotative verb meaning are clarified. It is determined that connotation is not an element of material word structure as its components are created in the process of words-signs perception. Every word has its meaning, and these meanings are toned up in the process of communication, forming connotation.
