Abstract

The proposed pipeline computing device contains several computing cells connected in series, the number of which corresponds to the number of the device inputs. Each cell, excluding the first one, contains an adder, a D trigger, a multiplexer, five registers, AND logic elements, an arithmetic and logic unit designed for performing comparison operations, and a module for isolating the common part of operands. The first cell does not contain the module for isolating the common part of operands and the fifth register. The proposed device provides a possibility to perform both adding and sorting operations on elements of an input data file, resulting in the extension of the functionality range of the device.
