Abstract

The paper considers modern architectural practices and features of the organization of the living environment for the elderly in the context of problems associated with the global aging of society. It was found that the aging of the population and the transformation of the traditional family model increases the role of social support and creates the need to find alternative housing models to meet the needs of the "new" dominant group.
