Abstract

The ability of exogenous DNA (e-DNA) to purposefully change heredity for the first time in the world was discovered by the researches of the prominent Ukrainian geneticist MD Tarnavsky conducted on the Drosophila, so this brilliant scientist is actually not only the pioneer of the mutagenic action of DNA, but also the founder of a new direction in science and a harbinger of modern DNA technologies.
