Медіаграмотність як засіб захисту від маніпулятивного впливу

Abstract

The theses consider the problem of manipulative influence in the modern media space and substantiate the importance of media literacy as one of the key factors in protecting the individual from information manipulation. Scientific approaches to understanding the manipulation of consciousness are analyzed, the main technologies for its implementation in the mass media and digital media are identified. Based on specific examples of modern media manipulations, it is shown how media literacy skills allow detecting distortions of information and counteracting unwanted influence. The main ways of forming and developing media literacy in the conditions of a higher education institution are outlined, in particular, using the example of the educational environment of Vinnytsia National Technical University.
