Abstract

Described The detailed characteristics of PHES power plants and their impact on the power system, PHES operation modes in power systems, expedient location of the station, economic efficiency and the impact of plants on the environment are described. The interaction of PHESs with renewable energy sources is shown. The reserve, needed to improve the balance of the local network is calculated. The main technical and economic indicators of the station are researched and described. The information of potentially dangerous and harmful production fac-tor, labor hygiene, industrial sanitation and stability of station operation in the con-ditions of emergency factors are considered.
