An automatic controller of asynchronous generator capacitor bank comprises a sensor of input reactive power, responsive element, setting device, automatic set point switch, delay time element, unit for analysis of losses and switching point detection, reactive power transducers, capacitor banks, block of squaring devices, block of scaling amplifiers, actuator for switching on/out capacitor banks, first group of electronic switches, second group of electronic switches, unit for the determination of capacitor bank reactive power excess, unit for determination of effective resistance, unit for selection of capacitor bank power, unit of inversely proportional distribution, unit for the determination of capacitor bank appropriate power, 2AND gate, diode. A unit for the determination of generator condition is incorporated.
